Affiliate programs are not necessarily high risk. Just another way to sell items online. You usually have to set up your website and sell items for other companies. Items in which you get a commission for selling them. Its all about advertising and getting people to your site. You cannot sell unless you have internet traffic. |

Gifting Programs |
This is where you send a gift to someone on a list. These programs follow special instructions in order to make it legal. Then you advertise the program to get people to send money to you. |

Referral Programs |
You join a program and get paid when you get others to join under you but you don't really have anything to sell. |
| Traffic Generating Programs |
These all claim to bring traffic to your website. You must join their membership and then promote their system and get others to join in order to earn commissions within the membership. |

One UP |
The first sale you make goes to your sponsor. The next sale goes to you. Then the first sale from each of those people, come to you. |

2 UP |
You pay to join. Then the next 2 recruits you get pay your sponsor. Then the next person you recruit pays you. Then the first two they recruit pays you. etc |

3 UP |
You pay to join. Then the next 3 recruits you get pay your sponsor. Then the next person you recruit pays you. Then the first three they recruit pays you. etc |

Many of these internet businesses are basic pyramids. You don't get paid unless someone joins under you. |
